Adil Jamal

Adil Jamal is a legal professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and public interest work. As Executive Director and Co-Founder of the Climate Action and Policy Initiative (CAPI), he leads the organization’s mission to promote climate justice, strengthen legal and policy frameworks, and support sustainable, inclusive development in Pakistan.

Adil has worked in both public and private sectors, including with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and leading law firms. His areas of focus include governance, financial regulation, and institutional reform. He has also taught Public International Law, including international environmental and human rights law, which informs CAPI’s commitment to principled and evidence-based climate advocacy.
